The Cast

It's harder to pick names for the 'new' job. I say that because it's been over six months (!) now, and I haven't settled on names for many of them. There are a lot more people, so it's harder. But, we will endeavor.

We'll be sticking with Grand Boss for boss's boss, but we're going to call Boss Marvin on occasion, for reasons that are funny to me.

There are six supervisors. The actual people may change in the future, but I'm going to keep the same names for my sanity's sake. I'm going to be honest, I may use the names interchangeably for some of them, as they don't often feature in my stories. We're going to call them Adam, Benjamin, Caleb, Daniel, Frank, and Gideon. That's a Seven Brides for Seven Brothers reference for those of you that were wondering, and yes, I'm aware I skipped Ephraim. It's too hard for me to try to spell consistently. Also, there are only six of them, so someone had to go.

Our quality manager is the one across the hall from me, and I need to figure out how to switch him to decaf. We're going to call him Speedy, and I feel the need to caffeinate when I'm around him for long.

Our plant's accountant will be BC, cause she refers to herself as a bean counter. She's lovely, and I know her outside of work. She's the reason I applied for the job.

At this point, I feel a little like the godmother in Cinderella. Let's see, who else.

Ori and Nori are the two department managers, along with Bomber, who I have often referred to as a bear of a man. Sweet, but huge. Dori is one of the maintenance managers.

There's also Biffer and Bofur, who are in charge of the electricians.

I think that's everyone for now, more or less. There may be a few more that pop up every now and then, but this will get us started.
